Our desire at River of Life is to Exalt Christ, Love People and Serve for God’s Glory. We live these beliefs out through our passions and gifting. Administration
Opportunities are available for people to help with keeping our communication current on our website, social networks, newsletters and bulletins. If you enjoy proofreading, know Publisher or are familiar with navigating the social networks, this could be an opportunity for you! Contact: Susie Black, susie@riverpca.org.
Home Groups
This is a place where we can do life and experience God’s love in authentic relationships with others. Opportunities are available to start or join a home group. Contact: Chuck Holliday, chuck@riverpca.org.
Men Fellowship

Mercy Ministry
Opportunities are available to serve the homeless through Matthew’s Hope in Winter Garden. If you have a heart for mercy, this ministry is for you. We are hoping to add other areas of mercy in the near future. Contact: Emmett or Lori Bradford, lwbradford@gmail.com.
Nursery
For our precious children from birth to 2 years old. We want to fill this opportunity with people who love babies. Ladies are scheduled to help on a rotational basis. Contact: Julie Johnson, lief_julie@hotmail.com.
Prayer Team
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. River of Life is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers are available to pray for others. Throughout the week, our prayer team prays for the congregational needs expressed through our communication cards. The second Tuesday of each month we meet at 6pm, start off with soup and then prayer. Rapids (Children Ministry)
Partnering with families so our children experience the adventure of following Jesus. Our Rapids program is for children 2 years old through 5th grade. Classes are divided by age or grade level. Teachers are grouped together in pairs and serve on a rotational basis. Class material and training is provided. Contact: Kathy Jamison, kathy@riverpca.org.
Refreshments
Our refreshment teams provide a way for our guest to socialize with each other by making available coffee, tea and light refreshments for all to enjoy at the end of the service. Opportunities for teams of two to help before and after service are available. Teams are scheduled on a rotational basis and training is provided. Contact: Susie Black, susie@riverpca.org.
Usher Team
Our ushers are often the first people our guests meet. They play a vital role in the church ministry. Ushers greet guests, help them with seating and make sure our Sunday mornings run smoothly. Women Fellowship
Our mission is to seek transformation in Christ together in an authentic community. We do this through discipleship and fellowship. Opportunities are available as mentors to equip other women. Contact: Debbie Holliday, dgbholliday@aol.com.
Worship Team
Opportunities are available for people who are musically gifted, have a heart for worship and are available to rehearse on Thursday evenings. We also have opportunities for singers who would like to join our praise choir which lead occasionally. Contact: Jodi Sewell, jodi@riverpca.org.
Youth Group
Inviting middle & high school students to experience Christ-centered growth through genuine relationships with God and each other as a community. We meet primarily on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 9pm. Opportunities are available for adult leaders. Contact: EL Allen, elallen@riverpca.org.
