Welcome
The River of Life in Ezekiel 47 is a beautiful picture of what we hope our church will be to our community; "...so where the river flows everything will live." We believe that the grace we receive in the Gospel of Christ brings life and is sufficient for all our needs.
In our Sunday morning worship time we seek to engage both the head and the heart of every person with the truth of God's Word. Contemporary worship coupled with relevant Christ-centered preaching brings the Word of God to rest in every area of our lives. The message of Christ permeates the entire service so that all might see him as Lord.
The Chapter Two Campaign
Sunday, May 18, 2008 was a historic occasion for our church family. It was exciting to exalt Christ together in one combined service and to consider what God might have in store for River of Life (ROL) in the next chapter of our story. If you were not able to be with us, click here to listen to the Chapter 2 sermon, "Let the River Flow" from Ezekiel 47:1-12 and meeting on May 18, 2008. Click here to read details about the Chapter Two Campaign.
Sunday, June 1 was a great day for River of Life. With about one third of our church body responding so far to our Chapter Two Campaign, we find ourselves two thirds of the way to our goal. The more I reflect on this the more humbled and grateful I feel toward God for hearing our prayers and to each of you who have contributed so generously. It really is an amazing thing that so many have responded so quickly and sacrificially to such a significant and sudden request. We believe that it is time for the river to flow in new and exciting ways.
Key to this vision is our ability to move forward to hire an Executive Director for ROL (Click on hyperlink to view the job qualifications).

Worship at River of Life
Rich Hawkins tells us about his goals and experience as Director of Worship at River of Life.
In January of 2004 the session appointed me as Director of Worship. It has been a great experience to serve our church in this capacity and I've been blessed with incredibly talented and committed volunteers alongside me who make it all happen. I have often said, "It is a humbling experience to be the leader of a team of which you are the least talented." The musicians and vocalists that we have are excellent at what they do, and even more importantly, they give God all the glory in what they do. There is a tender heart for worship at ROL that each member of the Worship Team resonates with. God has truly blessed us with lead worshippers not just worship leaders. Home/Small Groups
Here at River of Life we encourage people to participate in Sunday morning worship, to join a home group, and then to serve on ministry teams.
Home groups offer a place to experience love in authentic relationships with others who seek to grow in their Christian faith. Home groups are genuine communities where needs are met, care is offered, prayers are lifted and lives are changed because we experience the Gospel in our lives with others.
If you would like to join a home group, please complete the blue card in the bulletin on Sunday. You can also sign-up online, by sending an e-mail or by calling the office at 407/351-4333. There are variety of different types of groups to choose from, we will help place you in the group of your choice.
Most of our home groups meet on Sundays but we have had some requests for groups that meet during the week. If you are willing to host a group in your home and/or be a group leader, contact Russell.
